Radon

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension Office has short-term radon test kits available to anyone wishing to test their home for radon. The kits are $5.00 each, which covers the cost of the kit and testing of the contents. You will need to add postage to mail to the testing lab.
The testing lab will often recommend that an individual follow up their first test with a long-term test. We have the long-term testing kits available also. These kits are available at no charge (for as long as they last) as they were purchased with a grant.
